I help people interface better—with themselves, with exponentially changing technologies, and with each other.
Right now I'm focused on:
• Offering powerful conversations
• Building SPACE Terminal, an interface for multi-perspective thinking with AI, with support from the Cosmos Institute
• Collecting games, protocols, and essays for an upcoming publication on interface design and cultural evolution
• Studying HCI and its history with the Interface Club
I write a newsletter, Immediacy. The most popular posts are:
• Nobody Understands Me (Because I Am So Deep) - on being Enneagram Type 4
• How to Be Happy - a view on happiness
• Am I Religious? - about my relationship with Vajrayana Buddhism
Since 2021 I've produced The Jim Rutt Show, a podcast about cutting-edge thinking in science, technology, and the future of our economic, political and social systems. It is good and I recommend it.
Other recent projects can be found here.
If you're looking for something to do, perhaps you would like to:
• Have a non-ordinary conversation with me
• Talk to me about how and where to use AI in your work
• Send me anonymous feedback
ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm curating and publishing interfaces, processes, and essays that invite new forms of agency, expand possibilities in human-computer interaction, and bring people together in making sense of AI. If you are doing novel work in this field, please send me an email with a few words about it.
You can find me on Substack, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Are.na, or email me at andrew.s.blevins at gmail dot com. I like receiving emails.
